- Nothing stays the same for very long at Hope Harbour.
We have five individuals under the age of four.
Nope, nothing will stay the same.
"If I wake up in a good mood today - don't expect it tomorrow"
"If I refuse to eat my food today - try again tomorrow"
"Today I can share - no doubt tomorrow I can't"
As we roll with the changes of babies becoming toddlers
and toddlers becoming pre-schoolers,
us adults learn to adapt, to accept,
to be prepared and to take control.
Change keeps us on our toes,
keeps us guessing,
stretches us beyond our comfort zones,
and we learn to cope.
As I've watched our children,
I've realized that change upsets them.
Yet they accept and adapt quicker than us adults
that are set in our ways.
Let's learn something new here ...
worry less, - play more,
- and go from upset to forgiveness in five minutes flat :)
